Espresso Nirvana in the making
First a confession: I received this espresso machine 06/19/08 and opened it the morning of 06/21/08.
I am in lerve. Easy as pie to use. I flipped through the manual, which provides fairly basic instructions. I did not view the DVD although I may at a later date. My needs are simple: good espresso for icing or for soy lattes. My first try did not rock my world but I suspect that was my own fault. I used chocolate almond milk rather than soy. May as well have used regular coffee.
My second try almost had rolling around on my kitchen floor in ecstasy. I take my coffee very seriously. The crema was beautiful to behold until the espresso rose just past the 2 cup mark. Crema did reappear just before the 4 cup mark but it was marginal. I poured it into a glass and tasted it before I added the ice. Oh my! It was fab. Just the right amount of smooth; just the right amount of bite.
Confession number 2: I used regular beans and just ground them as fine as possible in a boring ol' grinder. It worked just fine although I'd rather have a true espresso grind.
Cons: 1. Noisy as heck when it comes to steaming the milk. 2. The tamper that I already own is too large for this machine. I ended up using first a shot glass and then a pill bottle. I am going to have to take the insert with me when I go shopping for a new tamper.
At this price, I will have my money back in next to no time.
I love it
I wanted to buy an expresso machine that is affordable and that I will use only for the week-ends. Based on the reviews, I chose the Capresso machine. I totally love it! It is easy to use, it does'nt take a lot of space, I strongly recommend it. I already bought one for my sister and she loves it too!

Purchased this product based on favorable reviews. It delivered as promised. Very easy to use and user friendly. The accompanied CD was very simple and it had me making rich and creamy Cappuchinos in no time. For the price you can't beat this item. Highly recommended.
A great little espresso machine for beginners like me!
I've had my Capresso Mini for awhile now, and I absolutely love it! The DVD and other materials explained very clearly how to use it (even for a total novice like me who was sick of Starbucks prices but had no clue how to make her own mochas before). I've made dozens of my own mochas and have even made up to 4 at a time for guests. I'm so impressed with mine, in fact, that I have another currently on order for my son's girlfriend for her birthday. And, a nice lady I recently bought furniture from ordered herself a Capresso Mini following a discussion we had about our addiction to mochas. I've also found other espresso recipes online and plan to try a few of them soon. This is an absolutely terrific machine, especially for the price!

I got this for my father on his birthday. He uses it every day and he is very happy. It's very easy to use and it makes good espresso.
